Winter, 2006

Dear Mike,

I am writing this letter to thank you for the generous donation of two heating systems and all the accessories, including installation for our duplex in Carbondale to Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley. This type of generosity is what makes our work of building simple, decent affordable homes in partnership with needy families possible.

We began construction of a duplex in Carbondale in late February 2006 in partnership with two needy families. The project is located in the Cleveland Place development on Eighth Street. We are in the finish stages inside. We still have some grading and landscaping to complete and some other exterior work to do in the spring. We are hoping to complete the project by mid January and begin work on our next project in Carbondale in the spring.

The families are selected based on three criteria; currently living in substandard or inappropriate housing, ability to pay a $90,000,000.00 interest free 20 year mortgage, income range of $18,000.00 to $35,000.00 per year, and willingness to provide 250-400 hours of "Sweat Equity".

Our mission is to eliminate poverty housing in our Valley and your contribution helps us get closer to our goal.

Sincerely,

Raymond F. Limoges
Vice-President Board of Directors Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley
