High-End Residential

Private Residence - Wolcott, Colorado

Climate Control Company is proud to be able to provide our clients with a complete mechanical package. For this 8,000+ sq. ft. private residence, located in Red Sky Ranch, we were hired to design and build a radiant floor heating system throughout the home, a snowmelt system for the driveway and patios, air conditioning and humidification for the main and upper levels, and a full air-to-air energy recovery ventilation system. Working closely with the architect, general contractor, and other trades, we developed a premiere full mechanical package.

The project consisted of:
(18) radiant floor zones.
(3) snowmelt zones consisting of approximately 2,700 sq. ft.
(2) Triangle Tube high-efficiency, condensing boilers for hydronic heating.
(1) Laars cooper tube boiler for snowmelt.
(2) Triangle Tube indirect water storage tanks for domestic hot water.
(3) Lennox variable speed fan coils,
(2) of which provide supplemental heating.
(3) Lennox high-efficiency 2-stage condensing units.
(3) Neptronic steam humidifiers to offset the dry climate.
(3) Mitsubishi energy recovery ventilators to introduce fresh air into the building. Full controls design and installation. Complete AutoCad design drawings.

Private Residence Addition – Vail, Colorado

The George Shaeffer Construction Company hired Climate Control Company to provide a design/build cooling and humidification system for a 2,500+ sq. ft. addition to a private residence located in the prestigious Spraddle Creek Estates. Also, approximately 1,000 sq. ft. of the existing structure was to be retrofitted with cooling and humidification. A large amount of south facing windows, which is common in our area, provide a lot of heat gain into the residence. The client benefited by having a highly efficient mechanical system installed for maximum comfort.

The project consisted of:
(4) Lennox fan coils to serve a total of
(6) zones of cooling.
(4) Lennox high-efficiency condensing units.
(5) Neptronic steam humidifiers to offset the dry climate, including
(1) for the wine room.
(4) Panasonic ultra-quiet exhaust fans. Full controls design and installation. Complete AutoCad design drawings.

4-unit Townhouse Complex – Aspen, Colorado

Climate Control Company was hired to provide a design/build cooling and humidification system for a townhouse complex located in downtown Aspen. This project required a unique design approach given the building layout. A residential roof-top unit was utilized to provide cooling for one of the townhomes. A total team effort was established to ensure client satisfaction.

The project consisted of:
(3) Lennox variable speed air handlers.
(3) Lennox high-efficiency condensing units.
(1) Lennox residential roof-top unit.
(2) Lennox energy recovery ventilators to introduce fresh air into the building.
(4) Neptronic steam humidifiers to offset the dry climate.
(24) Panasonic ultra-quiet exhaust fans. Full controls design and installation. Complete AutoCad design drawings.

Commercial

Conference Room Addition– Snowmass, Colorado

For this project, Climate Control Company was asked to provide a design/build heating and cooling system for an addition to a private inn, located in the heart of Snowmass Village. The 1500+ sq. ft. addition consisted of a conference room and exercise room. One of the highlights of this design was incorporating a full economizer system with the conference room furnace. An economizer provides “free cooling” via outside air when temperatures and conditions allow.

The project consisted of:
(2) Lennox high-efficiency furnaces.
(1) Full economizer package for optimal comfort and efficiency.
(2) Lennox high-efficiency condensing units. Full controls design and installation. Complete AutoCad design drawings.

Aspen/Pitkin Animal Shelter - Aspen, Colorado

Climate Control Company is proud to provide our services to the local schools, stores and other buildings that make up our communities. Recently, we completed work on the Aspen/Pitkin Animal Shelter located in Aspen, Colorado. This unique project combined all of the great aspects that our company can offer.

The project consisted of:
Radiant floor heating throughout the building on 13 zones.
(2) Lochinvar high-efficency boilers
(1) Mastercool evaporative cooler to provide cooling
(1) Triangle Tube domestic hot water heater
An extensive air handling system to provide a constant circulation of fresh outside air within the building.

All associated ductwork, registers, grilles and controls to allow the system to work properly and efficiently.
